Plumbing Service Technician

The Plumbing Service Technician will apply their technical skills and knowledge in performing diagnostic, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and light commercial environments and ensure that work is performed in accordance with relevant codes. Responsibilities include assembling, installing or repairing pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems in accordance with plumbing code specifications.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Performs residential to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
  • Identifies potential problems to prevent premature and/or unexpected breakdowns/callbacks.
  • Maintains and repairs plumbing systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems.
  • Inspects high-pressure, air, steam, water, and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions.
  • Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures, tests joints and pipe systems.
  • Studies building plans and inspects structures to assess material and equipment needs, establish sequence of pipe installations, and plan installation around obstructions.
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings.
  • Locates and marks position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures.
  • Installs pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances or fixtures using hand or power tools.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Must have a minimum of one year of verifiable plumbing experience in a residential service and maintenance operation.
  • Knowledge of local and national plumbing codes.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

What You’ll Do:

Customer Service Representative

 

This position has overall customer service, scheduling, and time management responsibilities for departmental operations and performance, including: Scheduling, Pricing, Profitability, and Cost Control Measures.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide introductory information to new customers
  • Ensuring that customers are satisfied with product and services
  • Following up with clients or customers to check that they are satisfied with their purchase
  • Letting customer or clients know about additional products or services
  • Cold calls and Follow up on options techs provide to customers
  • Determine the quickest, most effective ways to answer a customer’s question
  • Quickly Handle and communicate Escalating queries and concerns
  • Troubleshoot common issues with products and service
  • Work with other CSR Team members 
  • Sell Maintenance agreements through follow ups and expiring membership agreements

 

Punch Out Technician

 

What You'll Do:

  • Complete Failed inspections for Rough, Trim and Start phases
  • Installing Misc grills, Heaters, Filters, Hood venting (Indoor and Outdoor), Water heater venting, Relocate ducts and vents in attic
  • Low level Diagnosing system issues and repairing
  • Complete warranty tasks for homeowners as they come up. This is to include duct work reinstallation, remediation work, installing grills, etc. (depending on experience)
  • Build strong client relationships through outstanding service and excellent communication
  • Complete all daily tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and safety standards

 

Start Up Technician

What You'll Do:

  • Start up new systems, Pull vacuums, Programming thermostats, Hood vents (indoor and outdoor kitchens), Water heater vents
  • Diagnose/Fix problems that arise during construction phases
  • Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems with expertise
  • Build strong Superintendent relationships through outstanding service and excellent communication
  • Completing all daily tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and safety standards

 

Dispatcher

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and optimize technician schedules for maximum efficiency
  • Answer customer calls, voicemails, emails, and escalate concerns when needed
  • Follow up on HVAC/Plumbing service requests and warranty calls
  • Book service appointments and parts requests
  • Dispatch and coordinate service calls effectively
  • Support technicians with dispatch communication and field inquiries
  • Handle customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve concerns promptly
  • Promote additional products, services, and maintenance agreements
  • Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups based on technician recommendations
  • Collaborate with other CSR team members for seamless customer service
  • Process JB warranties and maintain accurate records
